is a member of the U.S.A. Martial Arts Hall of Fame having received the award of ‘Chinese Martial Arts Master of the Year’ in 2009 and ‘Chinese Martial Arts Instructor of the Year’ in 2010. Rosado is committed to sharing the many benefits martial arts has to offer and is available to give talks at schools, corporations and community centers. He currently is focusing his efforts on the younger generation of martial artists by raising money for Scholastic Warriors™, an organization dedicated to providing college scholarships for young martial arts leaders who are making a difference in their community.
What’s unique about what I do is I train the mind as well as the body. I use martial arts as a vehicle for achieving physical and mental goals and help my students do the same through seminars, workshops, group and private lessons. My strengths are inspiring and motivating people.
My coaching is results oriented and requires action. Since motion creates emotion I find it effective for my clients to work on areas of their lives while building their bodies and minds through martial arts and fitness training.
Not only is martial arts an excellent physical workout, it also develops the discipline and focus to follow through and achieve your goals. The importance of mental training comes out when there is a breakdown in commitment and you revert back to your “old self” (old habits such as excessive eating, skipping workouts, and other self destructive behaviors). Old habits die hard. They don’t want to be replaced and if you’re not trained to recognize them, they will creep up and take over without you noticing.
Through private and semi-private instruction, I will not only teach you how to set and achieve your fitness goals, but I will train you in recognizing old habits quickly and empower you with a choice so you can avoid self sabotage.
This empowerment will give you the freedom to make deliberate choices and take you off automatic pilot. Thus giving you the power for everlasting change, not just a quick fix.

Coaching
Most of my coaching is done in conjunction with private lessons. My coaching is results orientated and requires action. Since motion creates emotion I find it more beneficial for my clients to work on areas of their lives while building their bodies and minds through martial arts and fitness training.
Scholastic Warriors
Russell
Rosado believes in the importance of being involved with the community. He is currently working on a project called Scholastic Warriors™ to provide young martial artists financial support and scholarship funding towards higher education.
Unlike most martial arts scholarships, Scholastic Warriors™ recognizes young martial artists from all backgrounds and disciplines and also acknowledges young adults who demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities in the community as well as in martial arts, and in school.
Face Off USA
He is also supporting Face Off USA, a weight loss challenge where sponsors give pledges to contestants who have set goals to lose weight and improve overall health. By offering his coaching services Rosado is committed to seeing the contestants reach their goal and raise the most money possible.
The money raised from Face Off USA will go to support Project Ladybug, founded by Real Housewife of New Jersey’s Dina Manzo.
